duPont-Columbia Awards to screen Oscar-nominated documentary “Navalny”

From “Navalny”

On Tuesday, February 7th, the duPont-Columbia Awards will present a special screening of Navalny, a 2023 duPont Honoree and Academy Award Nominee.

With an extraordinary window into the complicated life and attempted assassination of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, this compelling documentary bore witness as his team worked to identify and expose the members of the secret Russian intelligence team that shadowed and poisoned him. Cameras continued to roll  in the aftermath as Navalny dramatically and historically responded.

The screening will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Joseph D. Jamail Lecture Hall in the Pulitzer Building of Columbia University. It will be followed by a Q&A with director Daniel Roher and Journalism School professor June Cross.
